Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to PET bottle recycling. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Notice

The article Plastics 2020 Challenge has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I believe this article fails the WP:Notability test. Reliable secondary sources are lacking. Most information available comes from the British Plastics Federation, the "sponsor" of the initiative. The stated (in 2011) commitments of reduce, reuse, recycle, and recover are also vague and largely meaningless and not different from any other plastics reduction efforts.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:31, 12 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
